For more than 8 years now, video editor Vanessa Buccella has been shooting, gathering, and cutting video to create fun and funky, compelling and serious, down and dirty, and monstrously masterful material that leaves most viewers flat on their backs.
Vanessa’s experience in television and commercial production has included gathering and researching footage, proposing and implementing marketing strategies, and mastery of Avid Media Composer Mojo/Adrenaline and Final Cut Pro NLE editing systems among other things.
Based in Chicago, as an Editor and Assistant Editor, this video editor has been able to work for The Oprah Winfrey Show, Towers Productions, Kurtis Productions, and Feld Motor Sports, (formally Live Nation Motor Sports).
Vanessa has also produced and directed her own short films, which have been selected for inclusion in the Chicago International Film Festival and the Chicago Underground Film Festival, among other programs. When not splicing and dicing video,
Vanessa can be found wheeling her way around Chicago on her Bianchi, even during the brutal winters. She’s also a long-distance and competitive bicyclist who is a member of the all-inclusive Spidermonkey Cycling team. Vanessa‘s cycling!
